Short answer is - YES. Dialing in your macronutrients is the key to losing body fat while optimizing your energy levels, appetite and hormones. However we want to be CLEAR that we do not encourage obsessively "eating by numbers" and playing "Macro Tetris". We give generous ranges and we personalize those ranges based on your feedback and preferences. A core piece of our program is developing autonomy in this by teaching a "food first" approach.
While we provide you with an extensive food list, there are no limitations on this program. However, we do encourage an emphasis on nutrient dense foods the majority of the time. This ensures that we are covering all of your nutrition needs. With that being said, we are looking to create a permanent solution. That means we also teach you how to incorporate the foods you enjoy without feeling like a failure.
This is not a "quick fat loss program". The amount of weight you lose will be dictated by your diet history, current metabolic health and your compliance with the actions we set for you. Realistic expectations on results are anywhere from 3-10 pounds.
While we do not provide a meal plan, we have an extensive accumulation of recipes and resources to help make meal planning and prep easy for you.
The majority of the changes you are making will not require more time, just a change in a food decision. So you can rest assure that this can fit even the busiest of seasons of life.
This is not my first jumpstart - and it likely won't be my last one. If you are happy with your results and you would like continued support, you can stay in our community and continue on. If you prefer, you can take what you have learned and keep going at a pace that suits. you.
I created FitBodyRX for one basic reason. There was a lack of clarity in what actually works to achieve LIVING LEAN. Most people know how to diet short term, but do not know how to stick it out long enough to make permanent change. Everything out there offers an "eat less move more" approach. That just doesn't work for the majority of my clients who are also trying to build more confidence in themselves in the gym. My program works by trying to get you into a fat loss phase in the way that feels the least restrictive to you as possible. So that you can stick it out long enough to finally be confident. And while the 4 weeks will not take you through my transition phase to maintenance, I will ensure you understand how to properly shift into a maintenance plan that sticks.
